Why do people who set up websites not sit back and have a think about the URL first….:

Is this not a case of false advertising?

HAHA, yeah, I’ve seen the Cardiff Uni Netball Team Hoodies, loads of them at the IOW festival last week!

Best was the “Glazed-with-cum” URL for a recipie on the BBC website.

The British Association of Plastic Surgeons used to have a website of:

http://www.baps.co.uk

That URL does still work but it now immediately redirects to:

http://www.bapras.org.uk

So they’ve gone to the trouple to completely rename themselves to the British Association of Plastic Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgeons.

Alreet, there’s a few I remember. A company called Pen Island selling stationary opted for the wonderous http://www.penisland.com.

http://www.expertsexchange.com is now renamed with the appropriate hypenage experts-exchange.

And I’m told that when powergen entered the Italian energy Market, they launched http://www.powergenitalia.com which whilst remains unconfirmed, I truly hope is true.
